Steps to make Halwet el shmasiye:
- Place water lemon and sugar in tm6 bowl 12min/100/speed 2
- Add the rice flour and corn flour mixture(which is the 1tbs corn flour and 2tablespoons of water)12min/100/speed 2
- Add rose water,Orange blossom water and mastic gum 2min/speed 2
- Transfer to a greased bowl cover with cling wrap and rest till completely cooled
- Once dough has cooled cut into 4 portions and roll each portion into a rectangular using icing sugar to avoid it sticking to your bench and rolling pin. place a table spoons of Ashta and roll into a sausage cut excess and repeat untill all dough is used up.
- Cut each one into bite sizes and place into cupcake cases sprinkle more icing sugar and decorate with pistachios place into the fridge until ready to serve
