The ingredients needed to make Mushroom Dahl:
- Take 1 onion
- Prepare 1 tbsp garlic
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 5 tbsps red lentils
- Take 2 stock
- Make ready 4 tbsps dessicated coconut in 1/4 or water
- Make ready salt and peoper
- Make ready Coriander fresh
- Take 8 mushrooms sliced
- Take 1 tbs ginger
- Get 1 tbsp coconut aminos
- Make ready Juice if 1/2 a lime
Season, then scrunch the edges of the foil together. Heat some water in a sauce pan. Heat oil in a kadai or pan. In a skillet heat the oil and add mustard seeds.
Instructions to make Mushroom Dahl:
- Slice the onion and fry in oil with the garlic and ginger
- Add the turmeric powder and lentils and stir for a few minutes
- Pour in the stock, coconut aminos, lime juice and blended coconut. Add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then coriander leaves (chopped).
Heat oil in a kadai or pan. In a skillet heat the oil and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds begin to flutter, add onions, ginger, jalapeno peppers, and garlic. Saute until the onions and garlic are golden brown. OK, so we might never agree how to spell it, but I think we can all agree that Dahl is one of the most fabulous transformations of the humble lentil!
