Add rice wine and toss well. Put a large pot over medium heat. Add oil and stir-fry garlic till fragrant, add in the mushrooms and pork belly, and fry for another minute. Add in the tau cheo and fry for another minute.

- Heat oil in pan stir fry garlic. Add mushrooms.
- Add cabbage. Add soaked dried shrimps. Add pork slices (optional). Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add a dash of salt and pepper. Stir in 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
Add oil and stir-fry garlic till fragrant, add in the mushrooms and pork belly, and fry for another minute. Add in the tau cheo and fry for another minute. Add in the prawn stock and the rest of the ingredients, except for the prawns and cabbage. In the same oil, add garlic, fermented whole soy bean (tau cheo), dried shrimps and pork belly and fry till the sauce starts to caramelise. Then, place carrots, cabbage and followed by the remaining ingredients (except vermicelli) into the pan.
