- Take For Momos Dough-
- Prepare 1 cup maida
- Get Pinch salt
- Take 1/4 tsp vinegar
- Prepare as required Water to Knead dough
- Take as required Momos Filling-
- Take 100 gms cabbage grated Or chopped
- Get 50 gms carrot grated Or chopped
- Take 1 capsicum, chopped
- Make ready as required Paneer as per your wish
- Make ready 3-4 garlic cloves
- Get As per taste Salt
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Black salt
- Get 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Prepare 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Take for Momo Marination-
- Make ready 1 cup curd
- Get 2-3 tsp kashmiri lal mirch
- Take as per taste Salt
- Prepare 1/2 tsp achar masala
- Prepare 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 1/2 lemon juice
- Get 1/4 tsp black salt
- Take 1 tsp kasuri methi
- Take 1 tsp tandoori masala
- Take 1-2 tsp mustard oil (hot)
- Prepare For Tandoori Effect-
- Make ready 1 pc charcoal
- Make ready 1/2 tsp oil
- Make ready For Tandoori Momos-
- Get as required Fried momos
- Get 1 Capsicum cut into big pcs
- Get 1 Onion cut into big pcs
The Tandoori flavour actually uplifts the Momos and makes it all the more flavoursome and Desi. You can either steam the Momos and enjoy them by itself or add the Tandoori Masala and give it a spicy and unique flavour which is very irresistible. You can serve them with a Peanut Satay Sauce/Chilli Garlic Sauce or any other Sauce of your choice. This hidden gem is all about tandoori momos!
Instructions to make Tandoori Achari Momos:
- First mix all ingredients from marination section apart from oil.
- Now heat the oil and add into curd. Keep it aside for almost 30 minutes. (You can keep for more time it will taste good) I kept for almost 3-4 hours.
- Dough - mix all the ingredients from momos dough section, and slowly add water and make a soft dough. Keep it aside for 30 mins.
- Momos filling - first add lil salt in cabbage and keep it for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove extra water and mix carrot, paneer capsicum and all masala from filling section.
- Now take small pc from dough and roll it.. On the corner apply water. Fill the stuffing. Give shape.
- Fry them till 60-70%.
- Place all fried momos, capsicum and onion in marination.
- Now place one bowl in center of the marinated momos and heat charcoal and place in bowl and immediately add lil oil and cover it for 2 minutes. (I didn't get charcoal so I used coconut shell, I didn't get exact smoke but taste is same)
- Now arrange them in tandoori sticks and roast them.
